The Terengganu government has set its eyes firmly on the future: to draw one million visitors by 2026 and elevate Tasik Kenyir into a regional tourism powerhouse.
Datuk Razali Idris expressed optimism that with continued collaboration with KETENGAH and consistent upgrades, the target is within reach. “The momentum is here. Tourists are returning, and our people are ready to host them,” he said.
Planned initiatives include new eco-trails, digital tourism campaigns, and improved accessibility — all designed to position Kenyir not just as a lake, but as an experience that defines Terengganu’s natural charm.
