KUALA LUMPUR: The “Enduring as Water, Together for the New Year” China–Malaysia Spring Festival Gala unfolded with grandeur, merging diplomatic goodwill and artistic expression in a single cross-cultural celebration.
The event gathered representatives from government, media, business and local communities from both countries. The opening lion dance and festive drumming immediately set an energetic atmosphere.
Key speeches highlighted the aspiration to elevate bilateral ties into a new era branded as the “Golden 50 Years.” Performances from Chinese orchestras, Malaysian zapin dancers, acrobatic troupes, opera actors and vocalists presented a diverse cultural tapestry.
Social media personality Qian Qian Long added a modern touch as ambassador for youth engagement.
