CES 2026 Highlights LG’s Push Toward AI-Managed Homes with CLOiD Robot

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS — LG Electronics is reinforcing its vision for AI-managed homes with the unveiling of LG CLOiD™, a home robot designed to serve as an intelligent coordinator of household tasks.

The robot integrates tightly with LG’s ThinQ and ThinQ ON platforms, allowing it to control and coordinate multiple smart appliances based on learned user behaviors and preferences. Its design prioritizes safe operation in residential environments, with a low center of gravity and smooth autonomous navigation.

Alongside CLOiD, LG is introducing LG Actuator AXIUM™, a new robotics component brand that underlines the company’s investment in foundational technologies for the Physical AI era. These actuators are engineered for efficiency, compactness, and flexible deployment across various robotic applications.

LG’s long-term roadmap includes expanding robotics across both appliances and home infrastructure, ultimately creating an AI Home ecosystem where routine chores are handled automatically, freeing users to focus on more meaningful activities.

According to Steve Baek, the CLOiD robot represents a key milestone in making intelligent household assistance more natural and accessible.
