Several Suspects in Zara Qairina Case to be Charged – AGC

KUALA LUMPUR — The Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) has reviewed the investigation papers into the death of Zara Qairina submitted by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and has decided to charge several suspects involved in the bullying incident, based on available evidence.

In a statement, the AGC said the decision to proceed with charges against the suspects for bullying offences was made as it would not interfere with the ongoing inquest proceedings.

The AGC further stressed that while the decision to prosecute the suspects has been made, it will not affect the police investigation into Zara Qairina’s death, nor will it hinder the inquest proceedings that will take place in court.
