KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 4 — A new chapter in ASEAN’s pet food industry begins as Malaysia’s Pet Universe NOURISH partners with Thailand’s International Pet Food Company (IPF) — a subsidiary of CP Foods — to push forward the region’s sustainability and innovation standards in pet nutrition.
The collaboration aims to combine Malaysia’s science-driven approach with Thailand’s manufacturing excellence, bringing premium, sustainable pet food products to the ASEAN market.
Speaking at the signing ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, Pet Universe NOURISH CEO Patrick Chin described the alliance as a “commitment to a shared purpose — advancing responsible innovation that benefits both pets and people.”
Echoing this sentiment, IPF President Kitisak Limamphai said the partnership aligns with ASEAN’s long-term sustainability objectives. “Our cooperation strengthens the entire ecosystem — from raw material sourcing to production and logistics — ensuring we grow responsibly while meeting the evolving expectations of pet owners.”
Both companies will collaborate on eco-friendly formulations, high-standard manufacturing, and regional supply chain optimisation to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
The initiative supports ASEAN 2025’s vision of inclusivity and sustainability, reaffirming Malaysia and Thailand’s leadership in advancing ethical and innovative business practices across the fast-expanding pet care industry.
