KUCHING: A man was injured when a tree fell and crushed his car at Jalan Sultan Tengah this afternoon.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received a call at 2.16pm, with firefighters from Petra Jaya reaching the site five minutes later.
The driver suffered a shoulder injury, while two women and a boy in the car were unharmed.
Bystanders rescued the victims before help arrived, and the Malaysian Red Crescent provided first aid to the injured driver.
Firefighters then cleared the fallen tree and debris to ensure the road was safe for traffic.
