Over 1,000 Join Ajil Fun Walk 2025 in a Celebration of Health and Community

HULU TERENGGANU, November 9 – The streets of Ajil came alive yesterday as more than 1,000 participants gathered for the Ajil Fun Walk 2025, turning a simple Saturday morning into a vibrant celebration of health and unity.

The event, organised by the Ajil Assemblyman’s Community Service Centre, began at 7:30 a.m. at Dataran Ajil Trade Centre and was flagged off by Assemblyman Maliaman Kassim.

“We want Ajil to be a community that’s healthy, happy, and united. The turnout today is truly inspiring,” said Maliaman after the launch.

Participants of all ages enjoyed a five-kilometre walk through scenic routes around Ajil town, accompanied by cheerful music, aerobics sessions, and friendly interactions along the way.

The morning also featured lucky draws, health booths, and fitness showcases, with prizes including gold bars, electrical appliances, and hampers up for grabs.

Supported by youth clubs, government bodies, and NGOs, the event underscored Ajil’s growing commitment to promoting well-being, community spirit, and active living among its residents.
