KUALA NERUS: Terengganu Football Club Sdn Bhd (TFCSB) has moved to clear the air regarding the FIFA transfer ban imposed on TFC, stating that all outstanding dues owed to last season’s import players were settled prior to FIFA’s announcement.
The club said the advance payment demonstrated its commitment to complying with international football rules and procedures.
“TFC had already fulfilled its responsibilities before FIFA issued the official decision,” the statement read.
The team now faces a three-window transfer restriction, as listed on FIFA’s website.
TFCSB added that it has already notified FIFA in writing and is awaiting an official response.
