Kind-Hearted Guard Helps Rider Short of RM1

A modest but heartening act of kindness in Kuala Lumpur’s Bukit Bintang district has struck a chord with netizens after a motorcyclist shared his experience with a generous hotel security guard.

Motorcyclist Roslan Rusly recounted on Facebook that he only realised he was RM1 short of the required RM5 parking fee when he reached the exit machine. Unsure of what to do, he kept checking his pockets until the guard beside him offered the missing ringgit.

Roslan said he initially declined, but the guard reassured him to accept it. Deeply moved, he asked for a photo with the guard, who admitted that no one had ever requested one before.

The post has since gone viral, celebrated as a simple reminder of everyday compassion.
