GEORGE TOWN: Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow has called on all GLCs and private companies to integrate the Drug-Free Workplace Program (TEKAD) into their operational standards.
He said the programme ensures employees remain in optimal condition, reducing workplace accidents and improving overall organisational performance.
Chow added that Penang’s economic progress relies on a workforce that is healthy, disciplined and upholds strong integrity.
PBAPP’s success in implementing TEKAD, he said, reflects the practicality of adopting it on a wide scale.
