TNB Wins World’s Best Brand Award for the Fifth Time, Cementing Its Leadership in Malaysia’s Energy Sector

KUALA LUMPUR: Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has once again strengthened its standing as a globally recognised brand after being named Best Brand 2025–2026 at the World Branding Awards held in Osaka, Japan.

The accolade marks the fifth time the national electricity utility has received the prestigious honour, following previous wins in 2014, 2018, 2019 and 2021, underscoring the company’s sustained excellence in brand leadership within the energy sector.

Notably, TNB was the only Malaysian brand recognised under the energy category, highlighting its unique position as a national utility with international credibility.

Organised by the World Branding Forum, the awards celebrate outstanding global, regional and national brands that have demonstrated consistent value creation, strong consumer trust and long-term relevance.

Out of 1,092 nominated brands worldwide, fewer than 100 were selected as winners, making TNB’s recognition particularly significant.
