TAIPEI: Rokid’s outstanding crowdfunding performance in Taiwan underscores a growing global appetite for AI-powered eyewear designed for practical, everyday use.
By raising more than NT$62 million through pre-orders on the zeczec platform, Rokid Glasses emerged as one of Taiwan’s most successful technology crowdfunding projects and the leading campaign of 2025.
The result demonstrates consumer trust in Rokid’s vision of integrating AI and AR into a lightweight, functional wearable. Unlike earlier smart eyewear concepts that struggled with comfort and relevance, Rokid Glasses focus on usability, efficiency and accessibility.
The Taipei launch event allowed users to experience key features such as real-time translation, AI-assisted navigation and hands-free controls, highlighting how the device can improve productivity and daily mobility.
At just 49 grams, the glasses deliver advanced capabilities without sacrificing comfort, a factor that has strongly resonated with users.
