KUALA LUMPUR — Creative Creed Associates is gearing up for a bold international expansion, with plans underway to establish a strategic partnership with Indonesia’s leading event company, GM Production. The move signals Creative Creed’s commitment to positioning itself beyond local markets and playing a stronger role in the regional and global event management arena by 2026.
Managing Director Syaiful Bakhtiar Salim described the initiative as an exciting turning point for the company, highlighting that the collaboration is expected to elevate Creative Creed’s business capacity and competitiveness. He expressed gratitude for GM Production’s willingness to work closely in exploring collaborative opportunities, particularly in strengthening both companies’ market presence and service capabilities.
He pointed out that today’s event industry demands more than standard execution; it requires innovation, precision, creativity and strong regional connectivity. Through strategic cooperation, both companies stand to benefit from expanded business reach, shared industry knowledge and cross-border project collaboration.
A 13-member Creative Creed delegation, led by Syaiful, recently visited GM Production’s headquarters in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, where discussions were held to explore strategic alignment, future project possibilities and the direction of long-term cooperation. Among the delegation were Creative Creed Director Muhammad Hudhayfah Zulkifli and Nebula Ventures CEO Mohd Ainuddin Aliff Salehuden, representing the wider group’s strategic perspective.
GM Production CEO Bapak Sutikno, who founded the company over two decades ago, welcomed the engagement, calling it a positive development towards creating impactful regional cooperation. He said GM Production sees tremendous potential in working with Creative Creed to expand regional event connections, develop high-value creative projects and deliver international-standard event experiences.
The collaboration discussion was also influenced by Creative Creed’s previous success handling international-level projects, including events in Japan. That experience, Syaiful explained, strengthened the company’s belief that Malaysian firms are ready to compete globally with the right strategy, strong partners and disciplined execution.
Looking ahead, Creative Creed aims to leverage the partnership to access new markets, strengthen branding across Asia and enhance its position as a trusted event solutions provider. The envisioned collaboration is expected to cover multiple areas including strategic planning, event production management, creative concept development and high-impact experiential programs.
Beyond business expansion, Syaiful stressed that the partnership will focus on raising service standards, improving operational systems, and empowering regional creative talents through structured knowledge-sharing platforms.
GM Production’s established presence in Indonesia, combined with Creative Creed’s dynamic approach and international exposure, provides a strong foundation for a collaboration capable of reshaping expectations in the regional events sector.
As Creative Creed targets 2026 as a milestone year for its international ambitions, this strategic initiative serves as a crucial stepping stone. It highlights the company’s readiness not only to compete but to collaborate at a meaningful regional level — reinforcing Malaysia’s standing in the global creative and event management landscape.
