RANTAU PANJANG – Kelantan Red Warriors Football Club (KRW FC) is moving to close an important chapter in its administrative affairs as it works towards finalising discussions with Nik Hafiz Naim Nik Hassan before the year ends. The move is intended to ensure the club can fully concentrate on rebuilding ahead of the 2026 football season.
Club president Datuk Muhamad Zaki Harun said talks are being conducted in a cordial environment, reflecting goodwill and shared commitment. He said both parties are now focusing on finding common ground, acknowledging each other’s circumstances, and prioritising the future of Kelantan football.
He believes the issue should not be allowed to develop into an unnecessary dispute, as the club’s priority is to stabilise its structure and strengthen team preparations. Entering the next season free from unresolved disagreements is seen as essential to creating a positive competitive environment.
Muhamad Zaki also voiced his confidence in reaching a “win-win” solution that avoids tension and protects the club’s image. He urged fans to trust the process and allow room for diplomatic efforts to continue, emphasising that unity is crucial as KRW FC moves forward.
Meanwhile, Nik Hafiz said he welcomed the club’s intention to settle the matter amicably and acknowledged that such a resolution would open a new chapter for KRW FC. His remarks signalled an encouraging tone in the ongoing negotiations.
Observers see the situation as part of a broader stabilisation effort within KRW FC as it seeks to rebuild credibility and momentum. A successful resolution is expected to support smoother management operations, reinforce player morale and reassure supporters of the club’s long-term direction.
For now, supporters and football followers are watching closely as both parties work towards a conclusive agreement that will shape KRW FC’s path heading into the 2026 campaign.
