PETALING JAYA: Malaysian singer Kaka Azraff has introduced her long-awaited first studio album, ‘MPT’, marking a meaningful milestone in her musical career.
Derived from the word empathy, the title reflects the emotional essence of the album – understanding people’s experiences through genuine human connection.
Produced over three years, the album was created during a quieter phase in Kaka’s career, allowing space for introspection and creative exploration.
She said ‘MPT’ developed organically through shared conversations, life stories and her observations of society.
The album comprises six songs, each representing different moods and perspectives: Berubah, Cabar, Arguments, Bully, Takleh Usik and Aku.
Kaka clarified that her focus was not on flawless technicality but on preserving real emotions and heartfelt storytelling.
The project also features strong creative input from SonaOne and Yonnyboii, whose contributions helped solidify the album’s musical identity.
She added that ‘MPT’ is not a return, but a continuation of the journey she has been crafting for years.
Supported by the Creative Content Fund, the Ministry of Communications, MyCreative Ventures and Universal Music Malaysia, the album will officially launch in late January 2026.
