SEMENYIH: Barisan Nasional will not reopen its doors to any component party that decides to leave the coalition, BN chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said.
He emphasized that political choices must be made with careful consideration rather than emotional reactions, warning that rash decisions could leave parties politically stranded.
Zahid also appeared to allude to recent developments involving the Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC), which has passed a resolution to exit BN and join Perikatan Nasional, although its final decision has yet to be made.
“There has been no official resolution or communication submitted to BN so far,” he said, adding that BN would make its own decision if uncertainty continues.
