KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian fans of Romantic Echoes are in for a treat as the acclaimed Indonesian indie band is set to stage their first solo showcase in Malaysia through Dentum: The First Romantic Echoes Showcase Live In Malaysia, scheduled for 6 February 2026 at Zepp Kuala Lumpur.
The concert will also feature local favourites Midnight Fusic as the opening act, making the event a dynamic fusion of Malaysian and Indonesian alternative music influences.
Event spokesperson Azreel Azhar shared that the upcoming show is the result of strong demand from local fans following the band’s impressive reception at Nyala Fest 2024. The festival appearance significantly strengthened their connection with Malaysian audiences and inspired organisers Neptunes Presents to take the next step by bringing them back for a full-scale solo showcase.
Azreel explained that the organising team is currently working intensively to ensure a unique and memorable experience. Fans can look forward to a setlist featuring around 18 tracks from across Romantic Echoes’ discography, including several songs that have yet to be showcased on stage, offering something exclusive to Malaysian audiences.
Well-loved songs such as Persembahan Dari Masa Lalu, Paradisa, Amarah, Gaung Asmara and Yang Kau Hindari Terjadi are expected to be among the highlights, reflecting the band’s signature blend of emotion, romance and musical depth.
Beyond the music, the concert is envisioned as a heartfelt appreciation for their passionate supporters, Divisi Romantis. Zepp Kuala Lumpur’s intimate yet impactful concert environment is expected to amplify the emotional connection between the band and their fans.
Romantic Echoes have previously made several appearances in Malaysia through collaboration shows and music festivals, but this upcoming concert marks their first dedicated solo event in the country, making it a significant cultural and musical moment.
