KOTA KINABALU, Nov 10 — Fifteen years after first setting foot in Sindumin’s political arena, Datuk Yamani Hafez Musa returns — this time as PKR’s state candidate.
For Yamani, his father’s identity as Tun Musa Aman, the current Sabah Governor, is not what drives him.
“I’m contesting because I want to serve. Family ties don’t win votes — work does,” he said.
Having once served as Sipitang MP and Deputy Finance Minister II, Yamani said his campaign will be grounded in understanding what people truly need.
“We take time to listen, because every community is different,” he explained.
Yamani said PKR’s manifesto will be announced soon and encouraged the public to follow updates through his Facebook page.
“Sindumin is where it all started for me — this is home,” he said with confidence.
