KOTA KINABALU — The newly established Sabah Cabinet represents the combined effort of all political representatives tasked with shaping the state’s primary administrative direction, said Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali.
He explained that the inclusion of five Independents, who previously held positions under GRS, remains crucial in ensuring a stable coalition capable of governing effectively.
Armizan emphasised that advancing Sabah’s rights and interests will be the Cabinet’s central priority, reflecting commitments made during the election campaign.
He noted that while no coalition secured a simple majority, voters clearly wanted a functioning government capable of delivering steady and inclusive leadership.
Ten assemblymen — from GRS, PH, UPKO and BN — were appointed to the new Cabinet during a swearing-in ceremony today.
