KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysian music icon Datuk M. Nasir has once again secured the MACP Highest-Earning Composer Award at the 2025 ceremony held last night.
He edged out prominent songwriters Saari Amir and Ezra Kong, maintaining the same title he held the previous year. His evergreen classic Tiara also earned him the award for Highest Overseas Revenue Song.
Although his label, Luncai Emas, did not retain the top local publisher title this time, the night still belonged to M. Nasir with multiple recognitions.
Other major wins included Sayunk I Love You for Top Malay Performance Song and Old Love for Top English Performance Song, while rising star Firdhaus bagged both the Chinese category award and the Promising Young Composer title.
