KULAI: Johor’s ambitious plan to provide 30,000 affordable homes is well on course, as ongoing construction expands across the state’s urban and rural regions.
Over 20,000 homes have already reached completion, signalling strong progress in the RMMJ programme.
The remaining units are expected to be delivered before the end of 2026.
Urban centres remain a major focus, with 15,000 homes built in high-demand districts such as Johor Bahru and Pasir Gudang.
Complementing this, the Perumahan Kasih Johor initiative under Budget 2026 offers targeted financial support to renters and first-time homeowners, lifting barriers to housing access.
