PH Council Prioritises Institutional Reforms, Reviews Sabah Election Outcome

KUALA LUMPUR: The Pakatan Harapan (PH) Presidential Council has decided to intensify efforts and prioritise several key institutional reforms in the coming months.

PH Communications Director Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said the meeting chaired by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim also reviewed the results of the recent Sabah state election.

In the 17th Sabah state polls on November 29, PH’s Datuk Jamawi Ja’afar won the Melalap seat with a 525-vote majority, defeating seven opponents.

Fahmi added that governance issues, economic developments, and progress on PH’s manifesto and reform commitments were also discussed.

He confirmed that a PH Convention will be held in the first quarter of 2026 to outline reform priorities and the nation’s direction for the next two years.
