UNICEF Raises Alarm Over Ongoing Violence After Child Deaths in Gaza

GENEVA: The United Nations Children’s Fund has raised alarm after confirming that 82 children have been killed in Gaza since the October ceasefire came into force.

UNICEF said continued violence during a ceasefire period undermines efforts to protect civilians and stabilise the humanitarian situation.

The agency stressed that ensuring the safety of children must be a top priority and urged immediate action to prevent further loss of life.
