RAUB: The completion of a RM1 million infrastructure project in Kampung Jeram Besu underscores the Malaysian Defence Intelligence Organisation’s (MDIO) continued support for community development under the Kampung Angkat Madani (KAM) 2025 programme.
Lieutenant General Datuk Mohd. Razali Alias, Director-General of Defence Intelligence, said the initiative aligns with the government’s aspiration to deliver inclusive development and ensure rural communities enjoy sustainable infrastructure improvements.
He noted that the project marks MDIO’s second involvement under the KAM framework, following the successful completion of a school upgrade project in Johor earlier this year.
“This approach strengthens cooperation between government agencies and local communities while contributing to long-term social and economic wellbeing,” he said.
