Continuous Rain Expected in Parts of Sarawak as Weather Alert Takes Effect Tomorrow

KUALA LUMPUR: Continuous rain is expected in several areas in Sarawak after the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issued an alert warning effective from tomorrow until January 1, 2026.

According to MetMalaysia, the areas likely to be affected include Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman and Betong, based on current weather patterns indicating sustained rainfall.

The public has been advised to monitor official weather updates via MetMalaysia’s website, myCuaca mobile application, official social media channels, or contact the hotline at 1-300-22-1638 for further information.

Authorities have also reminded residents in vulnerable areas to remain vigilant and be prepared for any potential risks associated with prolonged rainfall.
