NIBONG TEBAL — Police investigations into a deadly machete attack in Sungai Bakap have intensified following the arrest of two more suspects early Friday morning.
The latest arrests bring the total number of individuals detained to four, as authorities continue efforts to locate other suspects believed to have taken part in the attack.
The incident, which occurred at a restaurant during the late afternoon, involved a large group of masked men armed with sharp weapons, raising serious concerns about public safety.
One victim died from severe head injuries, while two others sustained serious wounds and remain hospitalised. Investigators are examining all possible motives, including financial disputes, as part of the ongoing probe.
