From Desktop Tools to AI Ecosystem: xTool Redefines Making at CES 2026

At CES 2026, xTool is positioning itself at the forefront of a new era in creative manufacturing, unveiling an AI-driven platform that integrates design, fabrication and production into a single ecosystem.

Exhibiting at Booth #55251 at the Venetian Expo, xTool is using the global technology stage to demonstrate how intelligent software and professional hardware can work together to transform how creators, educators and small businesses bring ideas to life.

A major highlight of xTool’s showcase is the xTool P3, which received a CES® 2026 Innovation Awards Honoree title in the Enterprise Technology category — an award programme overseen by the Consumer Technology Association.

The xTool P3 represents a leap forward in desktop laser manufacturing. Powered by an 80W CO₂ laser, it delivers industrial-grade performance while remaining compact enough for studios and classrooms. Its expanded work area and high-speed motion system allow for efficient production of larger or multiple items.

The P3 incorporates xTool’s Automated Creation System, which uses dual cameras, LiDAR autofocus and automated Z-axis adjustment to streamline setup and reduce manual intervention. Combined with production-focused software features such as batch processing and auto-nesting, the system supports scalable, repeatable output.

Safety is a key component of the P3’s design. A fully enclosed Class-1 structure with integrated fire detection enables longer operating cycles, addressing concerns often associated with higher-power laser systems.

Complementing the hardware is AImake, xTool’s newly introduced AI crafting agent. Built specifically for makers, AImake combines generative AI with manufacturing intelligence, allowing users to design, edit and prepare files for production within a single workflow.

Rather than replacing human creativity, AImake is positioned as a collaborative partner — guiding users through design refinement while accounting for real-world fabrication constraints.

xTool also offered a first look at its upcoming UV printer, signalling a move into full-colour printing across diverse materials. The printer is designed to support objects of varying shapes and heights, including cylindrical items, expanding the creative possibilities for desktop users.

The company said the product is being developed through a co-creation model, with early users invited to influence feature development ahead of its expected Q2 2026 release.

Throughout CES, xTool conducted live demonstrations showcasing end-to-end workflows — from AI-generated designs to laser cutting, UV printing and retail personalisation. The approach illustrates xTool’s broader ambition: to bridge creativity, manufacturing and commerce within a unified platform.
