Ewon, who is also the Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, stated that RM100,000 will be used for the construction of the new Mini Astaka at the village field, while the remaining RM50,000 will support the development needs of the church.

He added that the RM100,000 allocation was channelled through the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), while the RM50,000 contribution comes from the Kadamaian State Assemblyman’s allocation.

“Kg Nahaba field is among the most actively used fields in Kadamaian, including for the long-standing NATESA Football Championship.

“I hope this new astaka facility will add value to the surrounding area, including the Tamu Desa premises which were developed through allocations from the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (KUSKOP),” he said.

He made these remarks during a working visit to inspect the construction site of the Mini Astaka and the SIB Church facilities in Kg Nahaba today.

During the visit, Ewon also reviewed the progress of previous projects funded through the Kadamaian ADUN’s ‘Sentuhan Kasih’ allocation and announced an additional RM50,000 allocation to complete the church facilities.

In addition, he inspected the ongoing maintenance and upgrading works on a 90-meter-deep underground water pump system, implemented by the Minerals and Geoscience Department Malaysia (JMGM), to ensure sufficient water supply for the villagers, especially during the dry season.

After concluding his visit to Kg Nahaba, Ewon also stopped by to monitor the expansion project of the SIB Church in Kg Tegudon.

He presented a RM10,000 allocation from the Kadamaian ADUN fund to construct the concrete flooring for the new church extension.
