New focus, GV Ride strengthens operations in Subang Jaya

KUALA LUMPUR: Local e-hailing service operator, GV Ride, is taking steps to address recent feedback and concerns from users and drivers in the Subang area.

GV Ride CEO Kabeer Maand said the company acknowledged the challenges faced during the initial launch and has taken proactive steps to strengthen operations, service quality and driver engagement.

“Our focus now is to rebuild trust and provide real value to drivers and passengers.

“We have learned from past mistakes, and this time we will come back stronger with better systems, enhanced support, and a people-centered approach,” he said in a statement.

Kabeer said the company has also restructured its internal team by implementing stricter service standard operating procedures (SOPs), as well as introducing new initiatives to ensure a smoother user experience.

He said, GV Ride remains committed to transparent communication and genuine community engagement as it prepares for its official re-entry into Subang. Previously, GV Ride launched the “Free Rides Subang” campaign throughout April for residents and visitors around Subang Jaya.

Kabeer said the promotion is limited to a subsidy amount of RM500,000 and will end once this allocation is fully used.

Kabeer said that GV Ride hopes that the offer can benefit the residents of Subang Jaya in obtaining convenient, safe and reliable transportation services.

GV Ride is a growing e-hailing platform in Malaysia, committed to transforming the way people move, making daily commutes more affordable, safer and driver-friendly. With a focus on innovation, reliability and human-oriented design, GV Ride creates a seamless experience for passengers and drivers across the country.
