SAN JOSE — Mixx Technologies has raised $33 million in an oversubscribed Series A round to push forward its optical connectivity platform designed for next-generation AI data centers. The round was led by ICM HPQC Fund with participation from major global investors.
The startup’s founding team includes pioneers of Intel’s silicon-photonics transceivers and Broadcom’s early co-packaged optics deployments. Their goal: remove the communication limits restricting the growth of large-scale AI clusters.
Funds will be used to enhance Mixx’s HBxIO™ architecture — an optical communication engine that blends high bandwidth, low power draw and advanced orchestration software to deliver seamless end-to-end data movement.
The company will also increase its engineering presence across the U.S., India and Taiwan to support ecosystem partners and accelerate commercial rollout.
