PETALING JAYA — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has indicated that speculation surrounding a potential revival of Muafakat Nasional should not be overstated, as it does not factor into the current priorities of the unity government.
He said the administration remains focused on governance, economic growth and public welfare, rather than political manoeuvring among opposition or external parties.
Anwar’s comments signal confidence in the unity government’s cohesion, even as political actors outside the ruling coalition explore alternative alignments ahead of future elections.
